24-7 Prayer Spreads to New Nation a Month in '09!Carla Harding - 12 May 2009
Drum roll please... We don’t count often, but after a little updating and number crunching we’ve calculated that 24-7 Prayer has now had more than 6300 registered 24-7 Prayer Rooms in over 96 different nations!
New nations include Albania, Dominica, Moldova, Turkey, Jamaica and Togo.
I thought I'd been chatting to people running Prayer Rooms from places I'd never heard from before, but I hadn't realised that we were growing so fast, that's more than a nation a month in 2009. It may just be a person here and a small cluster of churches there, but nevertheless the challenge of extreme prayer is spreading.
Come on 100!
Next year is the 10th Anniversary of the 24-7 Prayer movement. It’s totally possible that we could reach seven thousand Prayer Rooms in 100 nations. If you’re praying 24-7, but haven’t let us know about it, why not register now and be part of the celebrations?
