Europe is shaking: economic structures are crumbling, political systems are in meltdown and injustice is on the rise…
The next few weeks are pivotal for the continent of Europe. God has prompted 24-7 Prayer to mobilise as many people as possible to pray. As the results of the European election are announced, as millions listen to President Obama’s speech in Cairo and as Christians pray at the British Houses of Parliament, the 24-7 movement aims to drench these events and others like them in prayer.
24-7 Prayer activists like Pete Greig (author of Red Moon Rising) and Andy Freeman (author of Punk Monk) will be releasing daily video Podcasts from Monday 8th June addressing the challenges and opportunities we’re faced with.
Follow the 24-7 PrayerCast through iTunes, on our YouTube Channel - 247Pray or from the 24-7 International site.
Help us spread the word: blog, Twitter and forward this email to friends, family and your Church community. Post the videos on your Facebook and MySpace, play them in your Church gatherings and add your ‘Amen’ as we intercede for Europe.
Carla leads on the work and growth of 24-7 Prayer across Great Britain and she is part of the Lectio 365 team, helping people pray the Bible every day. Her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room. Carla loves prayer and worship, friends and food, a well told story and a challenge to get her teeth into. In her spare time, Carla is an active member of Revelation Family Church, a 24-7 Prayer Community. She lives in Chichester, UK with her husband Steve and their children Jackson and Eloise.
