A Thousand Prayer Rooms in Brazil!Carla Harding - 21 Aug 2009
We received an exciting report this week from our good friend Amaury Braga from Chain in Reaction, Brazil, a 24-7 movement of prayer...
"God mobilised an amazing movement of prayer using the Global Day of Prayer this year. We had over 1,000 Prayer Rooms that prayed 24-10 and 24-7. It was a great blessing and people were really encouraged. Meanwhile there are some churches that have continued praying in fixed 24-3 Prayer
Rooms for the whole year!"
It sounds like God is stirring up a hunger for his presence in the nation of Brazil, join us in blessing what the Father is doing and encouraging more of our Brazilian brothers and sisters to take on the extreme challenge of night and day prayer.
Carla leads on the work and growth of 24-7 Prayer across Great Britain and she is part of the Lectio 365 team, helping people pray the Bible every day. Her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room. Carla loves prayer and worship, friends and food, a well told story and a challenge to get her teeth into. In her spare time, Carla is an active member of Revelation Family Church, a 24-7 Prayer Community. She lives in Chichester, UK with her husband Steve and their children Jackson and Eloise.
