Brazilian 24-7 Prayer House Welcomes UnbelieversCarla Harding - 14 Sep 2009

“I shared the vision of 24-7 Prayer with a couple of guys from my state, Minas Gerais here in Brazil,” writes Amaury Braga.  “They ran with the vision and when a house that belongs to a dear brother was up to rent an amazing and rather unconventional thing happened.  Before it was rented, he decided to turn this house (the whole house!) into a 24-7 Prayer Room with a different theme in each room.

The young people from the town united (from different local churches) and prayed and worked together in the house. It was a tremendous success.  There were people praying all the time. One young man said to me:

"Even as you walked by you could feel the presence of the Lord."

Young men who don’t know Jesus came into the Prayer Room late at night and were welcomed by some of the young people there. They sat for a while in the quiet room and said that were really touched by it, Praise the Lord.”

It’s amazing to hear about all God is doing in Brazil and how he is using Amaury and his friends to encourage prayer in our Brazilian brothers and sisters.  Please take a moment now to thank God and pray for blessing and greater hunger for prayer among the young people of Brazil.
