UK 24-7 team: post-ILG prayer needed! - 2 Oct 2006
After a great time of blessing at the Round Table and
ILG, the UK
team has been beset with a number of difficulties. We need your prayers!
UK community house
Phil Togwell reports that things
have stalled regarding the community-house that they've been looking to
purchase for months - the current owners have lost the house they were due to
purchase, and won’t be moving unless they find an alternative.
Andrea,
who works with Phil at the UK
base, has been in hospital earlier this week, and
the doctor has written her off work for two weeks with 'exhaustion'
Worthers.com
Phil
Worthington (Worthers) has lost some valuable contracts since the Round Table, partly
because of his commitments to Living Generously and 24-7 which limit his ability
to respond immediately to crises. Please pray that he will be protected from
other financial losses and for an outpouring of God’s blessing on Worthers.com.
Standing firm
Worthers has summed
up the situation as follows: "I
really think we need
to be united in prayer at the moment as the enemy will try to cause havoc
whereever he can. I feel it's like when Nehemiah got everyone rebuilding
the wall, there were times when some people were working and some people
protecting, they were always people ready to protect while others were
building. I feel we need be ready to stand in pray and protect each other."
