Brazilian Tribe Pray 24-7Carla Harding - 28 Oct 2009
24-7 Champion, Amaury Braga, sent these encouraging pictures from a 24-7 Prayer Room in Brazil...
"Terenas are a native Brazilian Indian tribe that was first evangelized by a British Missionary. When the missionary first arrived the old chief burned his Bible. Later they gave their live to the Lord and today they are over 60% believer in their tribes across Brazil and are a mission sending tribe."
It's amazing to think that these prayers are another step in the story of a people. Pray that God would continue to use the Terena tribe to see His Kingdom established and Jesus praised across Brazil.
Carla leads on the work and growth of 24-7 Prayer across Great Britain and she is part of the Lectio 365 team, helping people pray the Bible every day. Her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room. Carla loves prayer and worship, friends and food, a well told story and a challenge to get her teeth into. In her spare time, Carla is an active member of Revelation Family Church, a 24-7 Prayer Community. She lives in Chichester, UK with her husband Steve and their children Jackson and Eloise.
