Messengers of HopeIan Nicholson - 31 May 2010
Our friends at Operation Mobilisation (OM) are launching a major outreach to the Middle East and North Africa this summer called Transform 2010. Hundreds of young people will be training and serving together to bring the message of hope to some of the least- reached parts of the world .
OM are inviting people to pray 24-7 in the region during the outreach. This is the first time they will be offering 24-7 prayer as a short-term missions experience.
24-7 Prayer Rooms with a focus on prayer for the Mediterranean countries are going to be open in Malta (where Paul got shipwrecked) July 24-August 5, in Morocco (about 1% Christian) August 8-22 and a week of training will take place in Rome July 19-24. OM have plenty of other missions options this summer you might be interested in including a 5 month trip in a Ford Transit van!
Check out this short video about the houses of prayer and visit the transform website for more info.
