Prayer Spaces Podcast - Week 2Prayer Spaces - 14 Mar 2011

Last Wednesday, at the start of the 40 days of Lent, 24-7 Prayer launched their Prayer Spaces video podcasts. These are 5 minute devotional podcasts to lead us in prayer in the run up to Easter.

We couldn't have imagined just how well they would be received. At Wednesday they sat in the top 10 of podcasts in the UK and were 2nd only to the Ricky Gervais podcast in the video chart! We shouldn't perhaps be surprised, yet we confess we are, that people want to pray.

We've had reports of people challenging their non-christian friends to watch them each day for lent. People watching from hospital beds alone and communities all over the world gathering together to watch the videos and pray together. People want to pray.

This week we won't be posting the podcasts as part of the blog so make sure you subscribe either through itunes (or your preferred podcast reader/player using our RSS feed) or our YouTube channel, they will also be available on our Facebook page. Alternatively you can watch them on 24-7prayer.com/spaces.

The theme this week is 'incarnation' - the humanity of Jesus Christ. We'll look together at verses like 'Jesus Wept' (John 11:35) and pray for the presence and comfort of 'God With Us'.

The full list of this weeks bible readings is available now and Monday's episode hosted by Etienne Piek is below.
