Paint your Pumps: the 24-7 Eurogathering Auction Scot Bower - 15 Aug 2011

Each year at 24-7's international gathering we auction themed items (junk!). Each item has been lovingly made, transported to the gathering and donated to the auction in order to raise money for a deserving cause.

Last year was hats, the year before t-shirts. After much deliberation and head scratching this years auction could be quite literally the cheesiest yet…

Paint your Pumps

As the theme for the weekend is 'Stand Up' - 'Aufstehen' what better way to illustrate the message than for us to take a pair of shoes and 'bling them up' as a reminder to be taken home at the end of the weekend.

What you need to do now:

  1. Decide on a pair of shoes (you may need to buy a pair or choose some that have been left outside the door to your Prayer Room!). Flip flops, clogs, cowboy boots and doc martens are all acceptable!
  2. Do something creative with them! The idea is that the winning bidder goes away with a pair of shoes to wear or install in their prayer room to remind them of the call to Europe, of mission and prayer in this generation.
  3. Bring them to the Eurogathering in Frankfurt 6-9 October.
  4. remember to also bring some cash so you can bid as well as donate!

Tickets for 24-7's eurogathering are on sale now in the online shop.
