Malaysia 2012: Let justice prevailCarla Harding - 21 Sep 2011

Imagine the youth of Malaysia praying with one voice, to one God, non-stop, night-and-day, 24-7-365 throughout next year… Awesome.  The Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM) is aiming to do just that!  When the younger generations unite to pray across language and denomination, who knows what God will do.

From January 2012, Churches and youth will be praying 24-7 for a week or more and crying out for God’s presence and for justice across their nation.  Next year is a significant time for a year of prayer as Malaysia is preparing for General Elections and celebrating its Jubilee Anniversary as a nation!

“We need to soak the country in prayer to raise righteous leaders and bring justice back to the nation.” Writes 24-7 champion Chrisanne Chin. “Malaysia needs prayer like never before.”
"What does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

If you’re from Malaysia and want to find out how you can take part in the year of prayer email us to get connected.  If you’re hosting a 24-7 Prayer Room in 2012, why not set up a Malaysia zone to help people join their brothers and sisters in praying for the nation. We’ll be featuring testimonies and updates from this amazing move of prayer throughout the year.  Before then let’s be praying for the organisers (specifically Chrisanne mentioned above) and for the youth of the nation that they catch the vision to pray.
