2.1 billion reasons to pray: the Commonwealth Prayer InitiativeCarla Harding - 27 Sep 2011

This October an estimated 600,000 Christians will be praying for the 54 nations of the Commonwealth.  Click the below video made by 12 year old Nathan Brouwer to find out why…

From the 28th - 30th October, leaders from over 50 nations will be gathering in Perth, Australia for this year's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).  Leaders from this group of connected nations have been gathering for over 60 years to discuss international issues.  They include the world's largest and smallest, richest and poorest nations spanning six continents.  Before this important gathering begins, Christians all over the world, are mobilising to pray.

The Commonwealth Prayer Initiative is spreading the word and giving away resources to help people around the world pray for Governments, adopt a nation and add their amen.  If you want to get involved with your church, friends or on your own.  Check out their website to find out more.
