Prayer Request for JapanCarla Harding - 13 Oct 2011
In March this year, God spoke in a prayer meeting and changed our priorities for 2011! After praying for the survivors of the Japanese earthquake and Tsunami we sent one of our key leaders to the nation to see how the movement could pray, act and support the Japanese church.
It has been an incredible year of inspiring prayer and sending teams into the disaster zone. As a permanent base for 24-7 Prayer in Japan is beginning to be established we would love you to pray for Katie Cornick who has moved to Japan to serve in the short term.
Specifically please pray for the organisation of "Prayer and Service" Journeys into Tohoku, the tsunami-devastated region. Pray for Katie, for protection, friendship, favor and wisdom! Pray for the teams lining up to go to Japan this autumn, from North America and Europe.
Carla leads on the work and growth of 24-7 Prayer across Great Britain and she is part of the Lectio 365 team, helping people pray the Bible every day. Her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room. Carla loves prayer and worship, friends and food, a well told story and a challenge to get her teeth into. In her spare time, Carla is an active member of Revelation Family Church, a 24-7 Prayer Community. She lives in Chichester, UK with her husband Steve and their children Jackson and Eloise.
