Prayer Wall Reaches 100,000 PostsCarla Harding - 21 Oct 2011

One of the utterly genius ideas (and one of the most used pages) on this website often goes unheralded. It doesn't look fancy and is well overdue a makeover but it's functional and goes about it's business of quietly taking and broadcasting prayer requests week after week.

The Prayer Wall has been around for years in various guises and is a simple place for visitors to post their prayer requests. Once a prayer request is posted the visitor is encouraged to stay a while and pray for others that have been left. Simple.

Last week the total number of prayers that have been posted reached the 100,000 mark... That's a lot of prayers and a whole heap more Amen's! Whoop!

Here are a few that were posted today:

Thank you for my birthday, being spoilt and all the beautiful presents that I didn't expect since we have no extra $. Thank you Lord. It was a special day and I feel blessed.
God please send Rona financial help so she has money to buy food, and pay all her debts. Thank you.
Please pray for my healing. I had brain surgery last Tuesday to relive the pressure in my head caused by a non-cancerous brain tumor. The surgery has not work as of today. My recovery has been much harder than anticipated. I am believing in healing from God and need strength not to doubt god's plans and to continue to be a light to others during this time, a light for Christ!
please pray that I have a perfect job interview tomorrow, and I am hired. pray that I am able to get all my needs, plEase pray for the lord to keep my family safe, healthy, happy, and for my faith to stay intact. Thanks

Amen, amen and amen!

Why not take 5 minutes to visit the prayer wall and add your amen to the thousands of others, you could also leave your own petition or praise for others to read.

I'll leave you with one that was posted earlier today:

Thank you Lord and for friends on this wailing wall. The phone call yesterday that would of been a major disaster was turned the other way around through god's grace. Thank you. KEEP THE FAITH EVERYONE!!!
