Revival Run Fun @ The EurogatheringScot Bower - 24 Oct 2011

It was a real priveledge to welcome the Revival Run team who drove from Ramsgate in the UK to the recent Eurogathering in Frankfurt. We share their passion for prayer and mission... and adventure!

They came equipped with 800 prayer stakes (you can find out more about the prayer staking idea at their website, but essentially it's about taking your very best prayers to another street, town, country and praying them there... and leaving behind a wooden stake). They also made a bunch of extra special 'country' stakes - 1 for each language group in Europe with a challenge for folks to Go! To cross national borders and pray somewhere else.

As I'm sure you can imagine there was a LOT of excitement in the room as people dived into the pile of wooden sticks arranged in the centre of the room and discovered which country they'd picked out; "Where's Georgia?" a friend of mine asked. Road/prayer/mission trip plans were being plotted and it looks like there will be a bunch of 24-7ers making new friends all over Europe this summer.
