Stand up and pray for EuropeCarla Harding - 10 Nov 2011
"Aufstehen!" or "Stand Up!" was the call that resounded at the 24-7 Eurogathering in Frankfurt, Germany last month. Stand up church and be counted in Europe, stand up and be available to be used by God, stand up in prayer and see Jesus' Kingdom come and will be done in Europe as it is in heaven.
In the coming month please join us in praying for the only continent on earth where the church is in decline.
Pray for a fresh wave of the Spirit of God, for the Church to hear and answer the call to pray and make a practical difference, and for Jesus to be known and loved all across Europe.
Ian Nicholson has also asked that we pray for the following:
"The raising up of workers for the 24-7 Communities in Burgos, Spain and Neubrandenburg and Frankfurt Germany. We are praying for God to call 5 new people to each of these communities to see the Kingdom of Jesus spread in these cities.
Pray for wisdom and clarity for the European team as they meet in early December to strategise for the continent of Europe and their work in the year to come."
Feel free to add prayers in the comments section below. Thank you for you faithful prayers. Jesus knows us and hears us and He is good.
Carla leads on the work and growth of 24-7 Prayer across Great Britain and she is part of the Lectio 365 team, helping people pray the Bible every day. Her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room. Carla loves prayer and worship, friends and food, a well told story and a challenge to get her teeth into. In her spare time, Carla is an active member of Revelation Family Church, a 24-7 Prayer Community. She lives in Chichester, UK with her husband Steve and their children Jackson and Eloise.
