Advent: The Vision is Still Jesus - 12 Dec 2011

As of today many of us will have eaten half of the chocolates from our advent calendars, that means it is less than a fortnight until Christmas day. Here in the 24-7 Prayer offices we have been celebrating advent a little differently, with something more than chocolate snowmen pieces (although we do love the chocolate snowmen).

Hopefully many of you have had the chance to keep up with the 24-7 Spaces that have helped us prepare for the season.

Every day 24-7 are releasing short devotional videos to reflect on the meaning of Christmas and to prepare our hearts and minds to pray that ancient prayer ‘Maranatha; O Lord Come.’

These videos are designed to give you a chance to take some time and meet with Jesus each day.

If you haven’t got round to seeing the videos yet then you are not too late, go ahead and find 24-7 Spaces for Advent on iTunes, on the website or our YouTube channel and catch up. Please tell your friends to subscribe too.

We hope these last two weeks are full of excitement, anticipation, fun with the family, slightly cheesy movies, gifts, surprises and as always, a bit too much food.

But let us remember, this advent, the vision is Jesus .....

If you have enjoyed 24-7 Spaces for Advent then please think about becoming a 24-7 Partner and help us resource this vision. Our dream is to do 24-7 Spaces for Lent, but our dreams need money to become a reality! Many Thanks
