KC:IRL = More Prayer, More Unity, More Mission Theresa Stone - 13 Dec 2011

Alain Emerson, who helps lead 24-7 Prayer in Ireland writes: “What a belter of a night we had in Lisburn Cathedral on Saturday night! Amazing! A full house of people made the effort to travel in from Derry, Fivemiletown, Coleraine, Dublin and Mayo! It was an awesome night to celebrate all that God has been doing throughout the ‘What if?’ year of prayer in 2011. Almost 200 churches across the denominational spectrum have prayed this year all across Ireland.

It was a joy to have Pete Greig with us, as we launched Kingdom Come 2012, a year of prayer for the UK and Ireland.  (KC:IRL 2012). Let’s not forget to pray for Lisburn and Dromore churches who are praying through the month of December, as well as the three schools praying in Ireland this month.

As we stand on the threshold of 2012 we want you encourage you to continue to journey with us as we witness a reviving work of prayer happening across Ireland and the rest of the UK. One of the major pushes of KC 2012 is to see prayer in each of the 7000 Alpha churches across the UK as well as covering the Olympics in prayer as the nations descend on the UK.  Here in Ireland we sense God leading us to build upon the kingdom momentum energised throughout 2011 by mobilising MORE PRAYER; MORE UNITY; MORE MISSION in 2012.

Please check out the Ireland 24-7 website for more details of how we feel the Lord leading us here in Ireland in 2012 as part of the wider KC 2012 initiative. You will see a calendar of 2012 showing how we would like to focus each month in prayer.  We hope to get dates of gatherings in each area to you as soon as possible, as we really want to lay increased value on these times together throughout 2012. Something great is going on!”
