"You may remember that way back at the end of last August, we received the details for an old electrical shop/warehouse in Gosbrook Road, Caversham," Andy Freeman writes from the "new, improved" Reading Boiler Room.

"To cut a long story short, we looked at the place, felt God was in it all, and started what we thought would be a relatively short process to start renting it for a period of up to 18 months when it was due to be demolished.  Well, most of you know that it wasn't quite that simple, BUT, finally, on Thursday last week, Lorraine picked up the keys, and we could at last get in and get on!

There's much to be done, but it's brilliant to be in Caversham, and we're very grateful to God for the opportunities and plans that he has for us there.

The details are:  Gosbrook House, 11/13 Gosbrook Road, Caversham, Reading RG4 8BT.  We have no phone yet, but you can still contact us on 07834 593138 or email: [email protected]

Please do come and see us!  We're not yet sure when we'll be in a position to fully open, but our first priority at the moment is getting a prayer room ready, so we can start praying.  We will keep you up to date with further details as and when.

On Saturday 29 January, we will be there cleaning, stripping wall paper, painting, clearing etc, so if anybody is up for joining us, you'd be very welcome. The rough plan is to start at 10am and finish by 4pm.  If you think you could help for a couple of hours or more, please could you let us know, so we have a rough idea how many to expect.

Thanks to all of you for your support in so many ways during the time we have not had a building.  We look forward to seeing you in the new Boiler Room soon."
