January Prayer Requests - 10 Jan 2002
This (busy) month's prayer pointers:Andy (the Abbot) Freeman's wife Karen has been sick with a serious throat infection right through Christmas which has somewhat robbed them as a family of the break they needed. Pray for the virus to end quickly and for Andy to get some rest. Mel Forsythe (wife of the 24-7 Australian Base Leader) as she recovers freom a C-Section and for their new baby Zac. 12th - 18th pray for Pete Greig in a whirlwind tour of USA, (Orlando, Colorado, Nashville, L.A.) looking to find the right American partners for books about 24-7 and the Vision which will be coming out in Europe this year. There's potentially a lot at stake for 24-7 in terms of mass profile, integrity and finance. 23rd - 5th Feb: Key people from Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia and USA are flying to UK for our Base Leaders Training course. The aim is to build relationships and equip these people to go home and establish a prayer movement in their nations. Tall order! 25th-27th: German Prayer Camp in Wiesbaden. OPray that the young people catch a passion for prayer from the team: Markus Laegel, Susanna Richiger and Florian Hoenisch. 26th January: UK Leaders Day Ongoing health for Samie - especially that she would be able to return part-time to the 24-7 office The Swedish Base as they really establish the movement in that nation after their New Years' launch. They are slightly scared!
