Explosions of Prayer in MalaysiaCarla Harding - 17 Feb 2012

Night and day, creative prayer was hosted in 139 24-7 Prayer Rooms in 19 nations in January. 2012 is off to a prayer drenched start! I received a brilliant and very excited email from Chrisanne Chin, the 24-7 Champion catalysing the year of 24-7 Prayer in Malaysia:

"Things are going to explode from here and I'm excited! The Year of Prayer 2012 has taken off in a way I cannot explain or even imagine. I think at this point, close to 50,000 booklets [about the call to prayer and how to get involved] in 3 languages have gone out, people are praying everywhere, even in villages etc. This is our 3rd reprint! I'm loving this!"

The year of prayer in Malaysia is focused on crying out for justice in the nation and is particularly galvanising young people. I’m really excited about what this year will hold for them and for the UK, Ireland, South Africa and Alpha national teams around the world that are also taking on the marathon of 24-7-365.

Dante Lum (Danny), one of our Partners, has shared the following prayer request for Malaysia:

I'm part of a prayer movement called Run for the Nation (RunNat) in Malaysia. It is very similar to Revival Run of 24-7. RunNat has been around for 3-4 yrs now.

This year we plan to spread the vision of 24-7 'Boiler Rooms' to the RunNat team and its runners too. Please pray that many will respond to the urgent call to pray more, unceasingly...that more 'Boiler Rooms' will spring up....and who knows, perhaps we can also work together with Revival Run ! :)
