Why do you pray? Answers from the movement.Carla Harding - 27 Apr 2012

Why Pray?  That’s the question that’s been circulating around Twitter and Facebook today. Why take / waste time on the great leap of faith that is conversation with God?  I’ve been blown away today by the wisdom, honesty (and humour!) of the many, many people who’ve shared their answer with the world.  Here is just a selection of what people had to say:

“I pray because there are some questions this world has no answers for” @Adam_Heather

“I pray because without it mission is just tourism.” @mdsimants

“We pray because connecting with God transforms us and our viewpoint” @littlewarrior

“Because news like this keeps on coming: "Suicide bomber" kills at least 9 people in Damascus” @CarlaSpeaks

“Why pray? Cos it will not just change you but will change your today + tomorrow, your house + city, your heart + your mind, your dreams!” @jesshume29

“...because the more I pray the more 'coincidences' happen...” @joydicko
