"[Last month] we went out in Manchester in four teams… a few people stayed behind and prayed… A man called Brian was in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens waiting for a friend at the time that the mission teams were out...
‘I was approached by two young lads giving out DVDs and leaflets for an event at St Anne’s Church" Writes Brian. "My friend saw me and I put the church DVD in my pocket without looking at it. I later went home intrigued so decided to play the DVD. It was about God’s love. As it was playing I started crying, although I wasn’t sure what about.
I took a look at the leaflet and decided to go to the advertised event and listen to the bands play and hear some of the stories they were telling. At the event I was feeling weird and started crying again.
I got very emotional and I think it was that moment that I realised it was God.
A young lad approached me along with a girl and asked if they could pray for me. They offered to find me a Church to go to, so a guy gave me the directions of a Church in Ardwick. I thought nothing of it at first, but on the way home from the event I felt like God was telling me I needed to be planted in a church to grow. The next morning I woke up and felt this weird feeling in my head. I felt I needed to go to this church.
So I went along went along with an open mind. As I was listening to worship songs and I realised God had brought me to this church for a reason. Since this experience I have had a deep knowledge that God will never forget who I am and he does have a plan for my life.’
Prior to this experience, Brian had suffered from a serious stomach problem. He went to see the doctor who after examining Brian was amazed that the problem no longer existed.
