New Wine prayer day brings hopeTheresa Stone - 7 Dec 2012
Stories of radical loss and gain, followed by stories of passion for God and seeing his Kingdom Come always touch hearts. I love listening to how God can change lives for the better.
After the 24-7 Prayer GB network day in November, new national director, Brian Heasley, spoke on mission at a day of prayer at the renowned St Aldates Church, in Oxford for the New Wine network of churches. It seemed people were specifically moved to tears in praying for the world, particularly Europe, that day.
God was present.
The idea was to seek God's face through a combination of worship and prayer. Brian shared about his story of coming to faith, how he lost a parent and the repercussions that this brought. Grace and mercy were at the heart of his message.

Brian also told us of the need for prayer in, and for, prisons and prisoners in the United Kingdom. Two prisons have prayed as part of the Kingdom Come Year of Prayer in 2012, and we hope to see more of this.
Brian's excellent talk is downloadble for free from St Aldates Church.
