A Day to Pray for the Balkans - 18 Apr 2013

On the 4th May we want to invite you to join people all over the world in taking a day to pray for the Balkans.

Where in the world are The Balkans (I hear you ask)?

The Balkans are a beautiful region in Southeast Europe, they sit in an extremely strategic location between Europe and Asia. They are diverse in culture, being Orthodox in the South and Catholic in the North with Europe's 2 majority Muslim Countries in the West.

The Day of Prayer for the Balkans is being organised by The Balkan Network - a loose affiliation of friends and churches across the region and around the world. They are encouraging people to sign up on their website to show how many people are standing in prayer together, once you register you will be able to see a map of where everyone is praying from across the world.

God is on the move in the Balkans - we are seeing 24-7 Prayer grow throughout the region, last year the Balkan gathering saw 70 people from 15 Nations come together to share stories and pray for one another.

Plans are currently being put into motion for this years Balkan Gathering and we will be publishing details in the next couple of weeks - so keep checking back!

If this has got you excited about what God is doing in the Balkans then why not come with us on the 24-7 Mission Team we are sending to Skopje, Macedonia.
