Prayer Room to take place in St Paul's CathedralTheresa Stone - 16 May 2013

One of the most iconic buildings in London, England, is going to be filled with people praying continuously in a couple of weeks time, as 24-7 in partnership with Holy Trinity Brompton and St Paul's Cathedral prepare for the launch of it's first 24-7 style prayer room.

There will be an interactive, hosted prayer space inside the Cathedral itself during opening hours of 9-5, between services. Groups from churches all over the Anglican Church in London will register online to pray in the chapel of St Michael and St George, or locally, overnight, right where they are.

The prayer space sign-up sheet is filling up with slots from 3pm on Thursday 30th May to 3pm on Thursday 6th June as I write this blog.

The theme of the prayer is to celebrate the amazing things that God has been doing in London in recent years, and to prepare the way for the official launch of a renewed vision for how the Anglican Church in London serves it's communities with the love of God: 'Capital Vision 2020.'
