Bishop Of London Opens Cathedral Prayer RoomTheresa Stone - 30 May 2013

The Bishop of London, the Right Rev Richard Chartres, has opened a prayer room within a side chapel in the historic St Paul's Cathedral this week, to help people pray for London.

The prayer room runs from 30th May to 6th June, and has been set up by 24-7 Prayer and Holy Trinity Brompton in association with St Paul's Cathedral, preceeding the launch of a new vision for the Anglican Church, in the London region until 2020; called, 'Capital Vision.'

24-7 Prayer's GB National Director, Brian Heasley, showed the Bishop of London around the room, identifying the prayer stations themed on compassion, creativity and confidence in sharing the Gospel. These prayer stations include a prayer tree, a map of London, a chronicles book of prayer, a guided powerpoint of prayer and individual Celtic prayers. For those who are praying locally, some of these resources can be downloaded, and adpated.
