Tragic news from AustriaScot Bower - 5 Jun 2013

Last week we carried a report from the Loretto community in Austria where 5000 young people prayed in Salzburg cathedral. Today we heard the sad news that a young mum (23), who is a friend of the community, died when the car she was traveling in was caught under a mud slide.

News reports of the flooding in Central Europe appear only fleetingly on our TV screens and it takes emails such as this tragic news from Austria to pull as back to a place of prayer.

Evelyn who was traveling with her sister (who survived the accident) was the mother to a 3 year old daughter.

Please pray for the family and friends of Evelyn and for her church community.

Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. (Matt 5:4)
We pray that promise for Evelyn's family, would they know your presence and your comfort.
