#prayeralert: Turmoil in Ukraine PersistsLaura Gish - 4 Sep 2014

A nation divided.

Protest marches, violence, and civil unrest have filled the atmosphere in the nation of Ukraine. Since last November, the divided nation has been stuck between powers. Its government has been unable to seize control of the chaos that reigns.

Last week, troops were reported to have entered the country. Claims were made that there is a battle underway in the city of Luhansk. The threat of war is closer now than before. The ongoing conflict in the Ukraine has already claimed 2,500 lives.

Please pray for the Ukraine.

  • Pray for the civilians to be guarded and protected from the violence that continues to persist.

  • Pray that war would not be an option. Pray that violent protests and actions would cease.

  • Pray for peace to reach the people of Ukraine through the power of God’s Word. Pray that believers all over the nation would be prompted by the Holy Spirit to intercede day and night for their nation.

  • Pray for an agreement to be reached soon, bringing rest and peace to the citizens of Ukraine.
