A decade ago, Pete Greig published a book that chronicled the beginning of the 24-7 Prayer movement as a testament to the incredible power of prayer - and now, for the 15th anniversary, he’s written an updated and revised version.

Red Moon Rising, the 15th Anniversary Edition, is out in May complete with a new cover, 10-15% of new content, a new study guide and a foreword from Bill and Beni Johnson (Bethel Church, California).

In the book's new introduction, Pete confesses that when he wrote Red Moon Rising, "I was pretty sure that no one except my mum would ever read it…”

…but, he was, of course, wrong. The book ended up being read by many more than just Pete’s mum. In fact, it became the catalyst to prayer rooms and prayer movements all over the world (in 126 different countries to be exact, and that’s just the ones we know about).

It would seem that, inspired by a God who can use someone as ordinary and as boring as Pete (his words, not mine), people began to realise that He could use them too, so they began to pray.

And as people began to pray, God began to move.
