While we’re delving into The Word each morning with our Advent podcasts, over 1 billion people people don’t have a Bible in their own language.
One BILLION people.
It’s almost unbelievable. It’s outrageously unfair that while we get to hear and open God’s words to us whenever we like, so many others living on our planet can’t even understand it yet.
That’s why we’re partnering with Seed Company to create this year’s podcast series. Based in Texas, Seed Company have one aim, and that’s to translate the Bible for every human being on the planet. Their motto is simple:
“Bible Translation.
Life Transformation.”
They’re doing an incredible job; Seed Company are currently working with over 700 people groups to translate the Bible into their own languages; so that they can read the amazing story of God engaging and interacting with his people; so that they can start to understand the message of Christianity for themselves.
But there’s so much more to do. There are 1800 people groups still without God’s word and this means that Seed Company need support to keep going with the work that they do.
However, they don’t need money. They need prayer.
You can sign up to become a prayer partner for a Bibleless people group on Seed Company’s website. By signing up you are committing to pray for one people group to receive the Bible in their language; you are joining with Seed Company to fight for translation projects to happen, and quickly.
