...from the 24-7 batcave - 10 Oct 2005
Sha-bam baby!! Eighteen months from now, six books from
various 24-7 leaders will be finished and published, including...
Phil Anderson's "Lord of the Ring"
Alas, Phil's long-awaited bio of Count Zinzendorf, the father of the Moravion prayer community and missions movement.
While the Baptist missionary William Carey is
often referred to as the "Father of Modern Missions," Carey
himself credits Zinzendorf with that title and often referred
to the model of the earlier Moravians in his journal.
Andy Freeman's "Punk Monk"
Andy co-ordinates and develops the 24-7 Boiler Room network
that explores six monastic values in different expressions around the
world. Andy also heads up the Reading Boiler Room, preaches and
teaches and supports the mighty Arsenal FC.
"Punk Monk" explores the mission and values of the Boiler Room community model.
"Writing on the Wall" edited by Brian Heasley
"Writing on the Wall" is a compilation of prayers from 24-7 prayer rooms.
Brian and his family moved to the Spanish island
of Ibiza, the hands-down party capital of Europe (if not the world) in
March 2005 to start a Boiler Room community.
Pete Greig's "God On Mute"
Pete explores unanswered prayer in "God On Mute."
Pete heads up the International Base for 24-7
Prayer after having kicked it all off by accident back in 1999.
He is the author of 'Awakening Cry', 'The 24-7 Prayer Manual', 'Red Moon Rising' and 'The Vision and The Vow'.
++Please pray for the 24-7 International Base as major decisions are currently being made about publishing partnerships.
