For fifteen years 24-7 Mission Teams have been a core part of the 24-7 DNA as thousands have taken the challenge to join us overseas. From India to Mexico; Ibiza to Iceland; 24-7 Mission Teams have impacted countries all over the world.

Every mission team experience is different, but each makes a huge impact on the host community and surrounding area.

Every year people are touched by God through mission teams. There are stories of divine encounter, healings and salvations. So many difficult situations are impacted for the better as Mission Teams get stuck into serving, helping and praying 24-7.

As well as encouraging the long-term hosts, we hear of so many team members whose life expectations are changed. Some of 24-7’s leaders living all over the world - from the Middle East to Ibiza - have sacrificed everything to serve overseas; all because they participated in a mission team.

Teams are built around 3 core practices – Pray, Play and Obey.

Pray

There will be an expression of 24-7 Prayer on your team – a regular commitment to pray together for breakthrough in each location. In most situations that will be a 24-7 Prayer Room, but sometimes it is a regular prayer rhythm.

Play

Part of being on a mission team means enjoying the rich differences and celebrating the presence of God in the host culture. Learning from a different culture is stretching and challenging; however, it’s also a transforming experience that can be a huge blessing.

Obey

Mission teams go to serve with no agenda. Mission team hosts are the people serving everyday; they understand the full picture. Short-term teams are there to help and encourage this already established work. Each team also contains an element of sacrificial outreach; seeking to share God’s love with those who don’t know him. How that’s done varies from team to team, but prayer always leads to practical action. 

If you are new to this or a little unsure, don’t worry – almost everyone is! The application process will help to prepare you.
