"Its not just about giving of our money, its about our lifestyle and looking beyond ourselves. It may not involve money at all, it may be giving some of our time to help with a local youth project or doing kind things for those around us."
-Pete Worthington, founder of Living Generously

In December, the website for a new initiative called Living Generously was officially launched, and we think the world should know!!
In practical terms, www.livinggenerously.com provides a single access point enabling you to find projects meeting different needs across the world and then either give a specific gift or invite friends and family to give to your chosen projects by setting up a gift list, e.g. for christmas, birthday or a wedding.
LG partners with organizations, ministries, and efforts for the common good across the globe in the realms of agriculture, aid, children in need, community health, disaster relief, care for the elderly, housing, urban service and medicine. A central peice of LG is creating awareness that individuals can and should give into the needs of our day - and not as 'charity' - but as a lifestyle.
So stop in to LG and have a look about. And while you're there, take a moment to ask yourself, "Am I Living Generously?" | ||||
