Trumpet Call on 13th May 2006 will be the 4th National Day of Prayer and Proclamation hosted by the World Prayer Centre. Its vision is to call the Church to prayer and action across the nations.

Following the success of the Redeeming Our Communities initiative, started in the North West of England in September 2004, the UK national launch of Redeeming our Communities will take place at Trumpet Call IV. Redeeming Our Communities aims to raise awareness about initiatives which contribute towards community transformation and crime reduction in our towns and cities. The initiative brings together Christian organisations and churches to showcase best practice. It also provides prayer resources and information to help local groups work together for transformation.

A special emphasis has been on praying for the police and the work they do on our behalf. Redeeming Our Communities has seen evidence that prayer and action together reduce crime and enhance community life. Experience has proved that churches and agencies praying and working together is a catalyst for positive change. Will you join us and play your part in seeing transformation come to your community and our nations?
