"We had a young missionary couple to Uganda for many years that recently moved back to the states. When he returned, I turned him on to 24-7 Prayer and Red Moon Rising.

"After reading it, he has now left the states to do some preliminary work in setting up a 24-7 Prayer room this summer in northern Uganda. The effort will be located in the city of Gulu in conjunction with one of our short term mission trips.

"I don't know if you're familiar with the situation in Northern Uganda, but it is ruled by the Lord's Resistance Army and it's leader and self-proclaimed prophet Joseph Kony.

"He is a demonized leader who has committed heinous crimes against humanity and war crimes, brutalizing people and enslaving children for the purpose of both sex and fighting. Each night in Gulu, precisely where this prayer effort will be located, thousands of children from the country side creep into the city to sleep for fear of being kidnapped by the LRA.

This 24-7 is so strategic in prevailing upon the dark forces in this region of the world - very significant.

"The little ripples of a prayer movement are being used to shape nations."
