From the 24-7 Batcave... - 17 Mar 2006
This week has been a frenetic one in the 24-7 International office in Chichester! We've had merchandise misshaps, unexpected visitors and a 24-7 Prayer Room running in the room below.
Charlotte New's mission of the week has been to produce a 1000 badges (pins for our American friends) by Friday and has had a few challenges with unreliable suppliers. We're very glad for the experience though because this week we were visited by an incredible 17 year old guy who's fled Iran after an Armenean friend gave him a Bible and he decided he had to respond to Jesus. As we made badges in a converyer belt formation we sat gobsmacked by his story of converting from Islam and having enough conviction to follow Jesus inspite of persecution and exile from his home.
Pete Ward has been celebrating the results of our new year appeal! A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO GAVE! We'll be putting an official report and thank you on the site next week but we feel incredibly blessed by God through our community who have ensured that 24-7 can continue to grow and resource new nations.
As I speak someone is praying in the 24-7 Prayer Room beneath my feet. This week Revelation Church, the community that accidentally started this crazy movement of the spirit is praying 24-7 again! The prayer room has been full all week and is exploding with prayers, painting and makeshift sculptures. The young student who was saved after filming for his discertation in our last prayer room is filling up hour slots with enthusiasm and bringing all his unsaved house mates at the weekend!
