'Family' News - Congrats to two Newly Married 24-7 Couples - 29 Sep 2006

Many congratulations to two newly-married couples in the 24-7 community. Firstly to Phil Evans and Anna Jones who were married on the 13th August . After a lovely honeymoon in Thailand Mr and Mrs Evans have now settled into married life in Guildford, UK where 24-7 was launched back in 2000.  Anna is a teacher who has been involved in 24-7 since the beginning - whether in Guildford, Cambridge or on mission teams. Phil of course is Mr Mission - especially building our links into Belgrade and also helping initiate many of the mission teams that have been sent out from the UK over the last 5 years. Phil's heart for mission is infectious.

Rumours abound about the Evans' romance - apparently Anna first asked Phil out over a bowl of French Onion soup in Cambridge (we had thought Phil's frequent visits to Cambridge were through a deep burden to re-dig the wells of student mission - but, hey!). In February Phil carefully arranged a Valentine's weekend break in Sevilla with the conspiratorial support of Jonah and Heather Bailey and Jim Clarke in the 24-7 community there. He proposed and Anna said ' give me three good reasons why I should say yes!!'. You can ask them what the reasons were but we are delighted that Phil and Anna Evans are both involved in 24-7 - they are both wonderful individuals and a great couple.

Congratulations Phil and Anna!
