24-7 Moves into 20 Bed Mansion nr Leipzig, Germany - 1 Oct 2006

Marcus (right) and Andrea Lägel, have just moved with fifteen others, into a new, 20 bedroom community house (well, old school!) in rural Ramsdorf, near Leipzig, Germany. And for all you crazy wandering pilgrims out there... It's just 20 minutes from the supa-cheap Ryan Air Altenburg airport!
Their vision is to pray, to reach Neo-Nazis, to run the 24-7Transit (aka Converse) Course and to become a church planting center for Eastern Europe. Markus (right) reports...

... believe me: to leave our beloved and wild Dresden indie area and to move into a small village sounds strange - and it is! Now we live in Ramsdorf, near Leipzig, in a poor former coal mining area. But hey, WE didn‘t choose to go here. We WERE chosen. We choose to follow Jesus. And he is here already.

So, what are we doing in one of the most atheist areas in Europe?

We‘re going to turn it into Gods Kingdom. Yes, we believe Heaven is right before our doors. More than 85% in this area are atheist. These people haven‘t forgotten about God like many people in western Europe. They’ve forgotten what they forgot.

We’re gonna live together!

We're gonna pray 2gether, eat 2gether, work 2gether, and we will have fun!
