India: I'm Begging for Prayer, Prayer, Prayer! - 18 Oct 2006

by Kathleen Dillard

Greetings from Northern India where, right now, we're ramping up for a big project on the Ganges river, 29th-31st October.  "But," writes Kathleen, "prayer, prayer, prayer is what I'm begging you for."

Aradhana Yatra (aka Worship Journey), is an outreach down the river Ganges from Allahabad to Varanasi and we've put together a website with actual aerial maps of the 154 km. river region; and an Unreached People Groups button that features the nearly 300 Unreached peoples who reside between Allahabad to Varanasi.

+ The Ganges river itself is likely to be the most active water way in the world for it’s spiritual traffic.
+ Thousands throng the river’s edge each day to be cleansed from sin
+ If a person dies at the Ganges, Hindus believe it is an instant passport to heaven.
+Inadequate cremation procedures contribute to a large number of partially burned corpses floating down the Ganges, both human and livestock.

We REALLY NEED your partnership: anyone who would like to pray for us as we undertake this mission to some of the most unreached people in the world, can help us very simply by signing up for a thirty minute prayer slot online. On Oct. 31st we're aiming for a 24hr unbroken chain of global worship.

In His Love,
Kathleen Dillard
