Boiler Room Open Days 2007Andy Freeman - 13 Jun 2007

Over the past few years, we have seen more and more individuals within the international movement that is 24-7 Prayer become enthused about and committed to seeing communities based around prayer spring up across the globe.  We now believe there are at least 30 budding and active communities connected to 24-7 worldwide!  This month, ‘Punk Monk’, a book containing the story about Boiler Rooms' beginnings is published in the US.  We expect Punk Monk to be out in the UK this autumn.

In light of these developments, we want to create some focused opportunities for people interested in pioneering communities or already active in one to discover more about Boiler Rooms – to learn about our values, to see them in operation and to offer some training based on our experience and the Bible.

On 29 June at 11am, we will be holding a special training day at the City Boiler Room (Tabernacle Street, London or Moorgate Underground Station) to explore the values of Boiler Rooms.   This an ideal day for people interested in or already involved in communities or Boiler Rooms.  Most importantly, we will be having an evening meal together to end the day.  The training will conclude around 5pm and then the meal will finish around 9pm.  The cost of the day is £10.  We hope this will be a small, intimate setting in which we can discuss your questions and look at the Bible together.

On 14 July at 10am, we are holding a special Guildford Boiler Room Open Day.  We will meet in a church venue in Guildford (to be announced) from 10am until 4pm.  The purpose of this day is to profile one of our Boiler Rooms and give people the chance to see how this vision actually works in practice.  You’ll hear the Guildford story, meet the team and explore the values & practices of Boiler Rooms.  This will also be a valuable opportunity to meet others from around the world who are either actively involved in a community or are planning to be.  The cost of the day will be £10 and again includes a meal.

Places for these two days are limited, so please get in touch soon.  To book in please email [email protected]
