24-7 Canada - 16 May 2002
Things are starting to heat up as 24-7 Canada begins to grow with loads of Prayer Rooms registering in the world's second largest country. 24-7 PRayer recently went on tour throughout Canada with Delirious? and now Dan King ( 24-7 Canada Base Leader [email protected] ) is being swamped with requests to set up Prayer Rooms.
There have been some real answers to our prayers over the last few months. A guy called Victor has volunteered his time to help Dan set up all the legal stuff (like registering 24-7 Canada as a not-for-profit movement and opening bank accounts, etc). And today (Thursday) Dan is on a major Christian tv show talkign about 24-7, a real opportunity to raise the level of awareness of 24-7 in Canada.
Please pray:
- That the right eyes will see the tv programme and that good stuff happens thanks to the exposure
- For Victor as he starts donating time to 24-7 Canada
- For Dan and his family as they prepares for a youth church plant in the fall
- For a team of people to come together to help direct 24-7 in Canada
- For finamces for both 24-7 Canada and for Dan King as he volunteers his time without pay!
- For the tide to turn in Canada...
