Mission team to 'UK's worst town' - 27 Jan 2005

Luton's been unfairly labelled Britain's Worst Town, but it's actually home to a league-leading Football (soccer) club, a vibrant multi-cultural community, some 35,000 18-30 year olds, an international airport and a keen bunch of 24-7ers who've been praying faithfully!   This year a 24-7 Mission team will build on the success of last year's Luton impacteam that sought to find new ways of praying into and evangelising the 18-30  age bracket.

A big bonus is the team will be situated just 10 minutes up the road from this year's Transmission  gathering and the mission's scheduled to begin shortly after Transmission ends.

Participants will serve a core team with a long term vision for Luton; this team is being run in partnership with 24-7 and the Transmission gathering.
