Farewell kerry - 12 Jul 2002
many of you will know kerry strotton. if it wasn't for her, 24-7 wouldn't exist. with pete greig she ran the very first Prayer Room in england, and since then has given her all to birth the movement:the truth is that, since kerry graduated, 24-7 has taken up most of her time.
after a crazy 2.5 years kerry's is moving on to work for Fusion, the student cell network. The main reason is that she's getting married soon and just can't afford to live on the money 24-7 pays any more.
It's a happy-sad moment... Sad in that we are gutted to see kez go, but happy as we appreciate the phenomenal investment she's made over the years and totally love Fusion and all it does.
"Deciding to move on from 24-7 has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do" writes Kerry."But in many ways I'm not leaving - I'll still be involved, giving whatever I can whenever I can to bless all that God is doing in this incredible movement so close to my heart."Please pray for Kerry - especially as she gets married on 7th September! And pray that she's as big a blessing to Fusion as she has been to us.
Oh and pray we manage to fill the massive whole Kerry's leaving too!
