The art of persecution - 11 Jul 2006
Our friends at Open Doors have launched a really creative way of promoting the issue of Christians being persecuted around the world. So if you have an artistic passion, read on as this is a way you can really engage and support persecuted Christians worldwide.
The Art of Persecution is: prejudice, harassment, insults, threats, vilification, discrimination, intolerance, deception, misrepresentation, corruption, cruelty, violence, arson, imprisonment, kidnapping, rape, torture, murder, assassination - and are being constantly refined even as you read these words.
The Art of Persecution is:
- a look at how present-day Christians suffer across the world.
- a process of connecting with those who share our faith but not our freedom.- an art competition and touring exhibition on the cost of belief in Christ.
Launch date: Summer 2006
Closing date: 31 January 2007
