10 year old makes her mark in prayer room - 18 Nov 2004

Great stories continue to come out of the 30-day prayer room at First Baptist Church Santa Barbara, in sunny California, USA. The church featured here earlier this week.

Ken Elsner says: "One of the stories that has impacted me is that of a 10 year old who has spent more time in the prayer room than some of our seniors.  The first night of the prayer room, she begged to stay with the older students to pray through the night. 

She took the 3-4am and the 6-7am shifts...and she was "actually" praying and making her mark on the walls.  Since starting, she has made regular (almost daily) shifts in the room, spending time in her Bible and with God. 

On Saturday, she is signed up to do the 2am shift, right after me.  I think that the reason this is impacting me so much, is because it's my daughter. 

She loves God, but this Prayer Room is taking her to a whole other level.  She is inspiring my wife and I as well as other kids and adults."
