USA: Giggling Girls Actually, like, Pray! - 21 Dec 2004

'Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I took our Middle School girls in to the prayer room for a ½ hour on Wednesday night,' writes a mom from Deerbrook Covenant Church in Missouri. She continues:

'In case you haven’t spent much time around 12 and 13-year-old girls, they’re usually kind of giggly (which is why  they’re such fun to be around!). However, they really entered the prayer room with quietness.
These are 7th grade girls who are writing out prayers and tacking them up on the wailing wall, writing out their sins- and shredding them, and drawing artwork to honor the Lord Jesus. I’m not really able to express with words the gratitude that I have for being able to share in this - something that so many moms and dads and youth workers have prayed for and labored over for years. These girls are taking some real steps forward in their faith.
