'It's the kind of problem I've been praying for' - 2 Feb 2005
Today several people complained to me that they can't get their hours in the prayer-room because there are no open hours! Though I feel bad that they can't get their alone time in the prayer-room, I couldn't help smiling. It's the kind of problem I've been praying for.
After taking a long, relaxing break over Christmas, we asked people to commit to a number of hours per week for these forty days of prayer. It's a commitment to God, and no one else. It's not rigid or legalistic, but just a way to help people stay accountable for praying and spending time with God. Some people committed an hour or two, and others committed a massive fifteen hours a week! Anyway, I need to get some sleep ... I have prayer tonight. ;)
