USA: God heals shortsighted eyes and bad back in prayer room - 17 Feb 2005
"We have a notebook full of praise reports and awesome prayers that are being lifted up because of our 24/7 prayer room that is in it’s second month. It has drawn the people in our church so much closer to the Lord.
One of my friends, Jamie, has an unsaved husband that occasionally comes to church. She realized that she had signed up for 5am instead of 5pm and knew she could not make it at 5am and asked her husband, Jason, if he would mind covering that time for her. He did so and remarked how much he enjoyed it. God is really moving in his life.
The prayer room has been a “face to face” encounter for many people here. One of the things that has been so great for us as leaders here is to see the depth of need and heart cries that people are expressing in the prayer room."
Georgiann says some found emotional healing from past hurts as they have prayed, but others have also been physically healed. Here's 2 stories:
"On February 6, 2005 we received a testimony from one of our pastors that his eyes have been healed and doesn’t need to wear glasses anymore!"
"In this very room prayer went up for my back and it’s healed! Thank you, Lord!"
There are also heartfelt cries to God from children, teenagers and adults now praying there:
"I pray that You will help me to be more excited about You than I have been and I want You to help me to do what I am told to and to think before I do anything."
"Dear Lord, please forgive me for being bad to my brothers and would you please help me treat them better with more love and not hate."

"Dear God, I need help because, well, I don’t know what’s going on with me and mom and dad – are fighting a lot. I don’t know what to do because my mom said “this is the last straw.” They’re getting closer to divorce, so please help me. I’m going nuts! So will You help me, please!!!! Love, Your daughter "
"It has been a prayer of mine for many years to get rid of the feeling of unworthiness. It’s not really a feeling as much as it is bondage – it’s a lie from the pit of hell! I praise God for His wonderful gift of righteousness – I received it as a gift by faith and have been set free from that lie…."
"This room is an answer to prayers. I have needed this for many years and I hope they continue this for many years. Two nights ago, God lifted a heavy burden I had been carrying off and on for more than a year. The problem is not gone, but this is the free-est I have felt in a long time. This peace has continued and as I spend time in this room, the burden becomes less desirable to pick up …."

"Thank you, Father, for this safe dwelling place, a place where we can be quiet and turn our thoughts completely on You – a place where we do not have to pretend or try to impress anyone – where we are accepted as who we are…."
"Jesus, most of the time I don’t like who I am. I don’t like the way I look or what I have become as a person. I always feel 2nd class. It seems everyone else moves on but I stay here in this place. I’m sorry, please help me. I want to become all You’ve created me to be. Heal me, please...."
"Thank you so much for this prayer room. There is such a release you can have here that isn’t possible anywhere else. At home there is to many distractions for me. I came in with such a burden for some of my family members and I laid them at your feet and in Your care. I left exhausted from prayer but free from worry! What an exchange! Signed, Forever thankful"
