All hands on Deck - 7 Nov 2001

This is an urgent appeal for help…
Our 1st Boiler Room in Reading, UK is going crazy.
  • Non-Christian Goths and skaters are hanging out there all the time.
  • Strangers are being drawn to the building.
  • Local dignitaries are raving about it.
  • International pilgrims are staying and praying.
  • It’s filled with Catholics, Quakers, Charismaniacs, Anglicans… all praying their hearts out.

And that is our problem… It’s going TOO well! We are already stretched to the seams trying to keep up with God: Andy (the abbot) is exhausted. He’s trying to do about 4 people’s jobs. We desperately need help…

Would you consider doing one of the 3 options below?

    1. Send a donation to help us expand the Boiler Room team to rise to these challenges. You can do it either

  • by credit card on-line (just press the donate button on the home page).
  • by post to the address below (cheques payable to ‘Reading Boiler Room’)

    2. Volunteer time – come and stay and serve the Boiler Room for a week or even a year. Could God be calling some people to even leave jobs to come and help establish this new movement?

    3. Pray!!! This is a wide open door – it’s like Jesus is riding into the town. But the battle is fierce and we need our partners as never before.

It’s our conviction that the Reading guys are pioneering a whole new movement. We’re dreaming of 50 of these Boiler Rooms in the next 5 years. And there’s certainly plenty of interest. But we need to get this first one right. Please pray. And if you can give time or money – that would be great.

    Thanks
    Pete
