"The prayer room at Ripley Methodist Church, Derbyshire, is proving to be a real source of blessing to all who enter it, including people who haven't signed up.

One of our Mums from Mums and Tots, popped in on Monday to request prayer; last night at Midnight a lady from another Church called in unexpectedly to share in the prayer hour with my wife, Alison; others have also called in and encountered God in a new and real way.

God is also proving to be a step ahead of the game, as usual !!  Last night the burglar alarm went off at the Parish Church which meant that the curate, Jason, had to go up there at midnight. Thankfully there was no problem. Consequently, Jason was so tired that he overslept for his session at 3.00 a.m. However that 3.00 slot was covered because Alison had done an extra shift at midnight to relieve another prayer warrior from doing 3 hours. Because of this it meant that Paul was able to cover for Jason !! I am sure that there is a spiritual war going on, but God has already won the battle."
